Lepas School Visit ke Shobara City dgn Kobara Sensei minggu lepas, dia organize plak satu school visit ke Kamagari Island. Dpt gak tgk laut dan life bebudak kat pulau tu...Menarik! Siap ada slot melawat muzium. Tempat ni terkenal dengan warisan dari Korea dan China sbb ada port utk ke 2 buah negara tersebut.

School Visit- Part 1
|
|
Went for a school visit again. But this time with Kobara Sensei. He took us to Shobara City. We stopped by the Bihoki Park  π to look at the the ecosystem and lifestyle in rural Japan (Kobara Sensei's field is on Social Studies).
We went crazy as soon as we saw the blooming Cosmos!!  π  π π  π  π
Hehe... It was Cosmos Autumn Festival there.  π
Just our luck!  .
I saw a row of dark coloured cosmos. According to Kuwayama sensei, they are called 'chocolate cosmos' . They even smelt like chocolate!!!  π
Another new-found knowledge is that there are actually 3 types of paddy in Japan- white, brown and GREEN!!

Oh, there are also a type of veggie that is named after Hiroshima...  π According to my Japanese friend, the veggie that looks like a spinach can be purchased mainly in the form of pickles! Pickled-spinach, anyone?

Selamat Hari Raya- Day 2
|
|
Ada jamuan raya di Kagamiyama Koen tengahari tadi. Bukan sahaja utk warga Saijo tapi kawan2 dari Hiroshima City, JICA dan Mihara turut dijemput utk memeriahkan suasana raya. Seronok betul berkumpul beramai2...

Sebelah petangnya pula kami menerima kunjungan tetamu. Ramai juga yg sudi datang utk berhari raya dan menjamu selera.. (Buat laksa dan nasi impit jer....)

Selamat Hari Raya- Day 1
|
|
Pagi2 lagi dah bangun dan bersiap untuk solat Aidilfitri di Daigaku Kaikan. Kami 3 beranak ke sana dengan menaiki JR bus.  π
 π
Sempat lalu di tapak Sake Matsuri dalam perjalanan ke bus stop. Nasib baik belum 'harum semerbak' bau sake... Kalau tak, mesti spoil mood raya tahun nie... 
Ramai betul umat Islam yg sama2 bersolat.  π
Lega sebab Neesa chan jumpa ramai tomodachi... Senang skit nak solat...

Lepas solat, ada jamuan pot luck. Rakyat Malaysia bawa nasi impit beserta pelbagai aksesori spt kuah kacang, lodeh, rendang kerang n ayam masak merah... (Ayam masak merah tu courtesy of rakyat Malaysia yg bermastautin di Sunsquare )

Lepas makan ada sesi bergambar beramai2 (Sesi ni kami anak beranak ter'miss' sbb syok bergambar di perkarangan Kaikan...  ) Nak buat camne... takde rezeki...

Lepas tu, kami bergerak ke rumah Ghazali/Fiza sebelum ke rumah Azman/Jihah  π
dan sebelah malamnya ke rumah Wan/Ecah. Pendek kata raya pertama ni teramatlah kenyangnya.....Temanya ialah "makan dan makan lagi."

COSMOS

I have never come across Cosmos in the form of a flower before. So, when I was introduced to this lovely flower, I was literally enchanted by the beauty of it.
They are a lot of Cosmos in Saijo (and perhaps all over Japan) at this time of the year.I guess I am not the only one enchanted by the beauty of this flower....

A year older.....

Birthday En Idham yg ke 34.
Walaupun birthday yg sebenarnya semalam, sambutannya hanya berjaya dilakukan pada hari ini... Sori terlambat skit.....
Kami anak beranak pegi berbuka puasa (makan malam utk cik neesa yg tak posa ) di Jolly Pasta, Saijo.
Menu macam biasa- spaghetti, pizza dan ice-cream..

School Visit

Went to Yahata Elementary School in Mihara for our so-called final school visit. Had fun with the students and ALT friends.Great hospitality, great school, great students. All 8 teachers and 23 students showed great enthusiasm in learning English. Go! Go! Yahata Shogakko!!
